Cosmic Topologies - Tangents
The Cosmic Topologies Tangents series explores the intersection of architecture and abstraction through five unique composite originals. These forms both celestial and grounded evoke fragmented topologies, tangents of structure and space reimagined. Each work invites viewers into a cosmic dialogue between precision and spontaneity, permanence and flux.
Tower of Logos
Tower of Logos explores the abstraction of language, weaving letters and numbers into a cryptic, towering facade where symbols lose their meaning, inviting ambiguity. This enigmatic design blurs text and form, leaving viewers to ponder the elusive connection between words, shapes, and human perception.
Golden Rectangle Deconstruction
This project explores the golden rectangle and Fibonacci sequence through parametric design, using Grasshopper to generate architectural massings and facades with random extrusions, as explored in a series of axonometric studies. It bridges classical proportions with contemporary tools, offering new possibilities for modular, scalable design systems.
Offcuts
This series began with crafting an abstract wood model from picture frame off-cuts, transforming simple geometric shapes into a sculptural form. Using Rhino3D, I digitized the wood model and then explored shifts in scale. It’s an exercise in exploration – challenging my own cognitive entrenchment, a quest to uncover a thread worth pulling.
Sketch Procession
Sketch Procession traces the evolution of hand-drawn sketches into 3D forms, blending traditional artistry with digital tools like AutoCAD and Rhino. This process transforms simple lines into complex, futuristic structures, exploring the dynamic interplay between the analog and digital."
